Penny Meyer Hovda

 

Penny is a wife to Timothy for 32 years and a proud mom of one daughter, Lindsay.  Penny is “Nana” to 3 beautiful grandsons, Gavin (4), Greyson (3), and Griffen (1).  When Penny is not filling her “love tank” with these precious little boys, she is working primarily as a dental hygienist. She is also a speaker and writer and published author. Her book, “And He said, “Praise Me!”, is about giving God thanks in the good times and the bad and learning to live with an “attitude of gratitude”.   Her creative outlet includes interior design and creating crafts for consignment at Vines Vintage Market in Fort Collins, Co.  She continues to write and posts her “Letters from Heaven” to her website and blog at www.pennyhovda.com. 

 

Through her journey with breast cancer, Penny encountered Jesus in a whole new and personal way.  She has found her identity in Him, her Father, and the power of “praise” beyond circumstance or understanding key to growing, experiencing, and trusting Him through the trials we face.

 

Her heart’s desire is to live in pursuit of Him and the manifestation of His empowering Spirit in order to live a life that glorifies God and gives testament to His works.
